Welcome to Cycling Without Age Gold Coast where we believe everyone deserves to feel the wind in their hair and the joy of cycling, regardless of age or ability.
Our mission is simple: to bring the joy and pleasure of cycling to those who may not have the opportunity to experience it otherwise.
Through our volunteer-driven programs, we provide seniors and individuals with disability the chance to enjoy the freedom and exhilaration of riding a bicycle and reconnecting with the environment and their community.
We warmly invite you to join us, either for a trishaw ride or through volunteering with the Gold Coast's award winning initiative.
Cycling Without Age is an international non-profit organisation which originated in Copenhagen, Denmark, founded by Ole Kassow in 2012. Today, its presence spans 42 countries worldwide!
The essence of "Cycling Without Age" is to offer bike rides to the elderly and people with disability using special adaptive bikes called trishaws, manned by volunteer pilots.
In the spirit of generosity, these rides are provided at no cost.
Our core objective is to bridge generational divides and combat loneliness.
By offering these rides, we ensure people with disability and the elderly stay socially engaged, remain a part of their community, and experience the simple joy of feeling the wind in their hair..
